Nicholas is a solicitor in the Crime, Fraud and Regulatory team.

Nicholas acts for clients in criminal investigations and proceedings and has extensive experience working on a wide range of general crime cases.

He has acted for clients accused of complex and serious offences including murder, fraud, money laundering, offences against the person, sexual offences, kidnap, drugs matters and firearm offences

Nicholas represents clients at all stages of the criminal justice process and regularly attend police stations, appear as a Trial Advocate at the Youth Court and the Magistrates Court.

He has Higher Rights of Audience and conduct advocacy regularly at the Crown Court including jury Trials as the sole advocate.

Education and career
  • Nicholas graduated in 2006 from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne with a first class degree in Philosophy.
  • He completed the Common Professional Examination at Northumbria University in 2007 and I completed the Legal Practice Course at Northumbria University in 2009.
  • Nicholas completed the Higher Rights of Audience qualification in Criminal Courts in 2012.
