Natalie is a partner in our Immigration, Nationality and Asylum Team. She has in-depth experience advising corporate and private clients across diverse industry sectors on a broad range of immigration and nationality issues.
Natalie advises companies and private clients with practical expert advice to achieve their immigration aims. Many of Natalie’s clients have complex applications which require utilisation of the full ambit of immigration law in a strategic manner.
She has particular expertise in work-route immigration matters, providing commercial solutions and clear long-term advice to individuals and organisations.
She also has a niche specialism in cases involving international surrogacy and adoption matters.
Natalie expertly guides businesses and individuals on a range of matters including:
- Sponsor licence applications and sponsorship visas including Skilled Worker, Global Business Mobility and Expansion Worker visas
- HR advisory in relation to sponsor compliance and right to work
- Sponsor audits and training
- Sponsor licence re-instatement following a suspension or revocation by the Home Office
- Non-sponsored work-route visa applications such as UK Ancestry, Global Talent, and Innovator applications
- Indefinite leave to remain
- Citizenship applications
- Family-based visa applications
Education and career
- Natalie read Japanese at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London at undergraduate level, and later returned to SOAS to read for a Master’s degree in International Studies and Diplomacy
- Natalie later studied at BPP Law for a Graduate Diploma in Law, followed by the Legal Practice Course
- Natalie joined Bindmans as a Partner in 2024
- She was previously an Associate and then a Managing Associate in the Immigration Department at Mishcon de Reya LLP (2015 – 2024)
- Natalie trained at Magrath Sheldrick LLP and upon qualification worked as a solicitor in the Immigration Department (2012-2015)
