Legal Secretary – Crime Department

Our Crime Department is seeking to recruit a legal secretary to join the team, which is currently supported by a Personal Assistant.

  • providing secretarial support to the fee earners within the department;
  • audio typing;
  • assisting with the preparation of bundles and documents;
  • booking appointments, arranging meetings and managing diaries;
  • assisting with client queries;
  • undertaking administrative tasks and assisting with case administration and preparation.

Essential:

  • Legal experience and knowledge of criminal law is desirable.
  • Fast and accurate typing is essential (70wpm)

You will need to:

  • be self-motivated;
  • have excellent communication, organisation and administrative skills;
  • have a flexible and professional attitude;
  • have the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining strong attention to detail.
