Alex Temple, solicitor in our Education team, will be speaking at the Legal Action Group Education Law Conference 2023 on Wednesday 15 November.
Alex will be discussing how to get the most out of the early stages of civil claims against schools and universities, and the careful balance between advocating firmly for students’ rights, while also maintaining good relations with institutions they may still be reliant on for their education.
The event is sponsored by the Garden Court Chambers Education team and will cover topics such as laws and procedures relating to private law education claims, community care issues that are relevant to education lawyers, and school exclusions.
It will also feature an extended question and answer session with an educational psychologist, an occupational therapist and a speech and language therapist, where attendees can find out more about using expert evidence in the SEND Tribunal.
The event will take place between 10.00 – 17.30 at 1 Lady Hale Gate, London, WC1X 8BS.
