Last Friday (12 March), Bindmans LLP made an application to the High Court for urgent interim relief relating to the vigil proposed to be held on Clapham Common last Saturday, 13 March. The vigil was to be in honour of the late Sarah Everard who lost her life in the most tragic of circumstances. Our clients – Jessica Leigh, Anna Birley, Hennah Shah and Jamie Klingler, a group of women from London who came together following the tragic disappearance and suspected homicide of Sarah Everard – intended to hold a static, socially distanced hour-long vigil on the common.
The interim judgment has now been published. Please find it here.
