Karma Hickman from our Immigration team is to host a live MBL seminar, ‘international surrogacy and immigration – an introductory guide’ on 21 November.
This session will provide practitioners with the tools needed to advise intended parents on the best way to bring a surrogate-born child back to the UK. It will also be beneficial to Family lawyers interested in understanding the citizenship and immigration background to international surrogacy.
Some of the topics to be discussed will include UK surrogacy law basics: The Surrogacy Arrangements Act 1985, passport applications, Home Office policy, citizenship, and Parental Orders.
You can find more information on the seminar here.
