Alexander is a partner at Bindmans in the Private Client team. He joined Bindmans in 2025 and focuses on non-contentious private client work for individuals and families.
With over 12 years of experience, his work covers all areas of non-contentious private client work, including estate administration, will and trust drafting, Lasting Powers of Attorney, estate planning, and Court of Protection applications.
Alexander’s focus is always on understanding clients’ desired outcomes and advising them on the how best to achieve those goals.
In assisting clients with their estate planning needs, Alexander provides comprehensive advice, addressing family needs and dynamics, wealth preservation and protection, and tax mitigation.
In advising clients on estate administration, he has extensive experience ensuring estates progress effectively and correctly, achieving cost-effective conclusions within a reasonable timeframe. Alexander has experience with a variety of highly complex, multi-jurisdictional estates.
Alexander is conscious that private client matters can often be difficult and upsetting, and always acts with sensitivity and care in ensuring that the client’s concerns are addressed.
Education and career
- Between 1997 and 2001, Alexander obtained a BMus and MMus in Music from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
- Between 2004 and 2006, he obtained an LLB Bachelor of Laws at the University of London External Programme (now known as University of London Worldwide).
- After working at LBC Radio between 2001 and 2011 as producer and editor, he trained at a London law firm before qualifying as a solicitor in 2013.
- Alexander was Head of Private Client at a medium sized London law firm between 2022 and 2025 before joining Bindmans as a partner in early 2025.
