Gabrielle Plews

Gabrielle is a Partner and Head of our Corporate and Commercial team

Corporate Lawyer for City based clients on a full range of corporate M&A, financing and restructuring transactions.

Commercial Contracts Lawyer for key client UK supermarket chain, based in Bristol, including attending their head office weekly to support their in-house legal team on all supplier, customer, B2B, collaborations, sponsorships, franchise, joint venture, IPR and other commercial contract matters.

In-house Lawyer in media, film/TV, retail, hospitality and telco legal teams delivering high value, business critical B2B commercial contracts in collaboration with procurement/finance teams.

The combination of both the Private Practice Lawyer and the In-house Counsel roles over the last 20+years underpins every aspect of the service and legal advice I provide to my clients.

I take a personal and pragmatic approach to supporting my clients’ business goals and help deliver their strategic objectives with strong, timely legal support that they can trust.

I enjoy my clients’ journeys and see the bigger picture so we can horizon scan and manage their business risks together in a cost-effective way with an In-house General Counsel’s perspective that very few law firms can offer their clients.

I am founder and creator of the BCorp and ESG score raising legal services product that Bindmans is in a unique position to offer its business clients.

A winning move for all, this ethical initiative raises B|CORP and ESG compliance scores for our business clients, while making a huge difference to people who need it most.

This initiative is delivered by the creation of the 10% Bindmans Social Justice Fund. The LLP puts its money where its mouth is and transfers 10% of Corporate and Commercial legal services invoices paid by our business clients into this 10% Fund which is then made available to individuals who wouldn’t otherwise have access to the life-changing legal advice they so desperately need.
